At Pompey Stars we keep a note of all the hours you spend on our exciting courses.  Every time you do one of our fantastic activities, your tutor will take a register so that we know you were there and can add your hours onto those you already have.  This means that not only do you get to try out lots of new activities, visit other schools and make new friends, but you can also build up your Pompey Stars hours to get special awards!

When you have done 30 hours, we will reward you with a Pompey Stars Bronze Award.  This will be sent to your Head Teacher at school and they will present it to you in assembly and congratulate you on your very special achievement! We now also send your Silver Awards to your school.

For 60 hours we will give you a Silver Award, for 120 hours we will give you a Gold Award, for 200 hours we will give you a Platinum Award and for 350 hours we will give you a Sapphire Award. We even have a Diamond award which is 450 hours! When you have enough hours to get these awards we will invite you to come to our yearly presentation evening which we hold at the Football Club in the Summer term just for our Pompey Stars Award Winners.  You will be called on to the stage to receive your very special award.

For Parents
We keep a record of the number of hours attended by each child on our database.  This information is obtained from the registers taken by the course Tutors.  The children’s hours are recorded by term and we also keep a record of every child’s date of birth, the school they attend and their year group.  This information is only used to help us accurately track your child’s attendance with us. At the conclusion of each term’s activities, all of the hours are input and we are then able to establish which children qualify for a Pompey Stars award.  Awards are achieved as follows:-  
30 hours - Bronze
60 hours – Silver  
120 hours – Gold
200 hours – Platinum
350 hours – Sapphire
450 hours - Diamond

The Bronze and Silver Awards are sent to the Head Teachers at school to be presented during a school assembly.  The Gold, Platinum and Sapphire Awards are all presented at a special ceremony that Pompey Stars holds during the Summer Term every year.  Children who qualify for one of these awards will be invited along to this event to receive their awards.  We keep a record on our database of which children have received awards.
