After running successful Youth Universe courses after school, we thought we’d see if you’d like to have fun on a Saturday as well. So in the Spring term we ran Youth Universe at City of Portsmouth Girls’ school for two Saturdays. The feedback from the sessions was great but some things needed a little tweaking. After meeting with the City Girls’ Student Council, we have changed the time of the courses to 11-3.30. They also suggested that we run fashion design, cooking and drama courses. They also said they get bored in the Summer holidays; so, we are going to run a two day course in the 29th and 30th July for all children in Years 7,8 and 9.
